StratoQ works with Google G Suite and Microsoft Online to manage user access to both MFDs and the admin page. When an account is first created a StratoQ admin will set the first allowed domain for a customer based on the first admin user's email address. From there, the admin can add additional domains at StratoQ.com > Settings.
Multiple domains can be enabled, such as us.customer.com and uk.customer.com. We can even enable gmail.com users if you want to open your copiers up to guest or personal user accounts.
When a user logs into StratoQ, whether at the MFD, a mobile device app, or at StratoQ.com, we will redirect the user to either the Google or Microsoft login page. This means that the username and password are not stored by StratoQ, but by Google/MS, and the login process will be the same one the user is familiar with from other places.
When a user logs into the StratoQ.com site and we recognize the domain we will automatically add that user to the correct customer account. If the user logs in to StratoQ.com with a gmail account that we don't recognize or as a user with an unknown domain she will get an error.
At the MFD user's domains will also be checked during the login process, and new users will be added to the customer account automatically. If gmail.com is set as an allowed domain than any user that logs into a customer's MFD with a gmail account will be added to that customer's user list.
